Set in Rosetown in 2011, this is the tale of Clara Bowes (Davina Rose), a 19-year-old girl who is haunted by the memory of her late mother Deborah Bowes. To escape her lonely life and troubled relationship with her father Ray, Clara flees to Rosetown that holds the secret to her mother's past. Taken in by the intelligent and independent McAdams sisters — Judy (Michelle Mathers), Daisy (Stephanie Herrenhausen) and Diana (Victoria Serna) — Clara finds solace in their mesmerizing world of music. She learns about the true meaning of family as the McAdams sisters show her their "white album", her mother's past and much more.

Reception[]

The White Album received mostly positive reviews, even though some critics felt the film to be "a familiar and tired fable". Nevertheless, it won the Barker Award for Best Film, Best Actress (Davina Rose) and Best Supporting Performer (Edward Goldsmith) at the 2012 Rosetown Film Festival. It was also nominated for the Barker Awards for Best Director (Christopher McCarney). What is more, most critics found that the chemistry between the actresses was excellent.
