Squire is a Brunanter car manufacturer founded in 2009 that produces the Squire Eight supercar since. Production volumes are quite low as the car is hand-built. The car uses a modified Ford V8 engine as its powerplant.
History[]
Squire was founded by Swindon, England businessman Harry Powell. Powell was unable to start his company in the UK so he moved to Brunant in 2008 and a year later founded Squire. It took five years to develop the car and put it into production.
Squire Eight[]
Three words describe the Squire: Big, Brash and Bold. The Squire Eight straddles the line between road and track, sports car and racing machine. This is not a beautiful machine or a comfortable tourer. The Squire simply is a pure drivers car made for the top performance with no frills attached. The Squire deploys a 4.8 liter V8 engine with turbos, allowing the car to go from 0-60 in 3.2 seconds and onto a top speed of 195 mph. The interior is rather spartan and every piece is purely for function. Options for the car include flappy-paddle gearbox (€225), traction control/driving aids (€700). Price starts at €288,088.
