Rainbow School

Rainbow School is a private preschool in Newtown, Koningstad Founded in 2001, it is situated in a brightly-colored, modern building. The school follows a Waldorf approach to learning, with much focus on the hands-on activity. The schools employs fairly equal use of Dutch and English while teaching, in order to stimulate students and better help them to master the languages.

The school has become recognized for its good education methods and results, and frequently politicians and personalities send their students here (such as Gert Henneman and Ibra El-Zein's daughters). The school has 155 students in total.

Many of the school's students continue to study at the adjacent Newtown School, which has a partnership with Rainbow School.

Enrol your child

Enrolling your child at the Rainbow School begins in April, for September. Be sure to go through the process early, as only 155 to 160 spots will be available. Contact the school for further information and data on the school fees.
