Princess Cornelia of Brunant (Cornelia Marie Van Draak, 1765-1830) was a member of the Royal Family. She was born to King Adrian II. In 1791 she married a well-to-do banker of noble origin, Louis Mathers. They had three sons, Gilbert (1793-1844), Frederic (1797-1868) and Pierre (1799-1871). She and her husband went on to found L. Mathers et Cie. and established a banking dynasty that would control 3/4 of Brunant's financial sector.
