The Paratka Bridge, named after Anne van Paratka, was an arch bridge and the predecessor of the Ambroos Bridge in present-day Newtown. It hosted the road LR-14, a road to Koningstad. It was built in 1808 as the first major bridge ever to cross the Dortmund. It collapsed in 1912 due to bad construction and was replaced within a few months.
