The Market Plaza (Dutch: Marktplein) is one of the major squares in the Grafstad neighbourhood of Koningstad, Brunant. This old plaza, along with the rest of the quarter, is a National Monument. This did not prevent many of the historic homes from being demolished in the early 20th century in favour of Art Deco/Art Nouveau houses. Here, one can find the Adrianus Graf House, the first home built in the city.
Koningstad's Market Plaza was the site of the weekly market in the city, but since the 1900s, as the neighbourhood became more upscale, it was no longer held.
There are some small cafés on the plaza, occasionally including the restaurant Clandestin.
