Mario Hoever (1988, Koningstad) is a Brunanter football forward who plays with St. Marks Koningstad.

BiographyEdit

Early lifeEdit

He was born to Brunanter actor Jos Hoever and Argentinian model Maria Costa.

Early careerEdit

Hoever joined the youth squad of Dortmund SFC in 2005 but was released the following year. Despite performing well he was not consistent in form and was deemed by the club to be a potential liability.

St. Marks KoningstadEdit

He joined St. Marks in 2006 after an impressive trial. In 2008 he broke into the first squad and was one of the club's top scorers in 2008-09, behind only Ibra El-Zein. He was team captain until Anne van der Bruggen became it in February 2013.

National teamEdit

In 2005 he joined the Brunanter U-20 squad but had no appearances, though he was called up to the senior team, socring in friendly match. His next appearance, as a substitute came in a World Football Championship qualifier against Honduras, where he scored his second goal. In WFC 2010, he scored one goal for Brunant. In the 2012 edition, he marked his second international goal versus Bhutan, and had five assists. Scoring twice in 2013, he now has eight goals for Brunant.
