Prince-karl

Karl Pieter Van Draak (born 4 April 1990) is a Brunanter prince. He is the eldest child and only son of Prince Wilhelm and Insel-born Princess Leonore. Prince Karl is currently ninth in line to the throne, one place behind his father.

He is known to have a good interest in football and supports Dortmund SFC, since he was born in Dortmund. He currently lives in Hillside, Brunantstad at 8 Centralstraat with his wife, Princess Elisabeth of Lovia.

Biography[]

Early life[]

Karl is the eldest child and only son of Prince Wilhelm and Leonore Birkeland. His father is a son of former King Marten II and Queen Aleksandra and his mother was born in Inselöarna to a Norwegian father. Karl's godparents are his maternal grandfather Anders Birkeland, his uncle Julian Tegling, his aunt Princess Marie and his parent's friend Oliver Brown.

He is a nephew to former King Anthony and a cousin to Queen Helene. He has two younger siblings, Princess Stephanie (1995) and Princess Brigitte (2005). The prince did his schooling in Koningstad.

From 2008 to 2012, Karl studied at Blackburn University in Lovia, specializing in architecture and urban planning.

In 2012, he became employed as an architect's aide in Noble City, Lovia. Upon returning to Brunant, he did the same until becoming a drafter, working in such a position until 2015. He then joined the Brunantstad city government to work on their urban planning and works offices.

In early 2013, he joined the Royal Guard as a reservist, joining as an intelligence officer. He served with the military until the summer of 2016, retiring as a Captain.

Relationships and marriage[]

He was dating actress Adriana Rand for a while, but they have broken up.

In late 2010, there were rumors that he was dating Lovian Princess Elisabeth, but there had been no hint by the prince as to that being true, but the two were later spotted in a Noble City coffee shop and the media began speculating that they were intent on keeping their relationship low-key. In April 2012, a source close to the couple revealed to the media that they were living together in Noble City and on 2 August that year, the pair announced their engagement after Prince Karl proposed.

Karl and Elisabeth were married on 14 September 2013 in a religious ceremony at St. Sebastian's Cathedral in Koningstad and are living together in Brunantstad. The marriage was followed by a celebration in Noble City, Lovia.
