In 1872, the Royal Opera was built in Charleston Beach to entertain the rich and the royalty. The Opera was very succesful, and opened a theater in 1910. In 1921, the theater was converted into a movie cinema. In the late 1940, the opera's owners were forced to sell the property to the government to pay off debts.
In 1955, the government of Leuvis Van Eyck legalized gambling and the opera was turned into a casino. Highly profitable, it was the main tourist-related revenue provider for the government.
The casino has many types of gambling things. The majority of the casino is composed of gambling tables for roulette, blackjack and poker.There are also some slot machine. The Royal Opera Restaurant located in the casino is also popular, especially with tourists.
