Maison Cassals is a Brunanter fashion company founded in 1930 by Julian Cassals. It is considered to be the first haute couture company in Brunant.

History[]

Cassals was founded in 1930 by Julian Cassals, who had already designed clothes for over a decade by then. Cassals would build up a reputation for his fine clothing as the first true couturier in the country. He was head designer of his company until 1966 and continued as president/owner until his death in 1973. His daughter Diana headed the company until 1995, followed by her son John Sands, though he is not a designer.

Queen Aleksandra was a well-known patron of Cassals, with Julian Cassals having made her a number of pieces, most notably her coronation dress. Cassals became a royal purveyor in 1970.
