The 2011-12 First League (known as the SD Bank League for sponsorship reasons) was the 96th season of the 1. Liga. The defending champions were St. Marks Koningstad.

St. Marks Koningstad, FC Kings and the Grijzestad Strijders were all rather close until the last two months when Kings and Grijzestad broke away. In the second last matchday, both Kings and the Strijders won (getting 67 pts. vs 65 pts.) and anyone could take the title. In the final matchday, Grijzestad drew 0-0 with Sporting Markstad while Kings won.
